TRASH THE DRESS!!!!! This weekend we traveled to NOLA and got to hang out with a great group of photographers. This was a little OSP get together. Thanks to Sandra of Eau Claire for setting this up.

We actually didn't think we were going to make it since it threatened to rain and when we left Friday we didn't have any solid information on where everyone was meeting. My wife and I decided to just go for the night anyway. I had my mind completely made that we wouldn't get to meet anyone. We were walking around in the French Quarter and happened to spot Mark Eric running around snapping like a mad man.

I had full intentions to just introduce myself and be on our way. Mark just drug me in and I rarely turn down the opportunity to shoot. The problem was since I didn't expect to shoot I only had one lense, one body, and 30% battery power. So I had to shoot conservatively with what I had but I really enjoyed it.

We really enjoyed meeting everyone!

OH, the great husband and wife team of Studio Vieux were there videoing all the action and put together a great little video of the day. They were also gracious enough to open up their courtyard villa studio for us to play in their pool. Check out the video at http://www.wpenewsletter.com/

Look what we found! Stacie, is so modest. When my wife Allison asked her to help us out with a little promotional shoot, she was floored that we would even ask. It wasn't until after her shoot that we found out she is the regular pageant queen! She is Miss Hospitality! Deservedly so, she is a very hospitable and photogenic person.

Thanks little Miss Modest, looking forward to our upcoming shoot.

Kristen and Ryan ROCK!!!!! This shoot is definetly at the top of my list for all time most fun, most fufilling, most ROCKIN shoots. We had planned to go to this little laundry-mat, but when it was full so we decided to swing by this little building I have been wanting to shoot at ever since they started building it. It was the best location to shoot at. Kristen and Ryan were working it and everything was just falling into place.

There are times when I just love photography and I am reassured that this is something I want to do every chance I get. A few days after our shoot Ryan and Kristen stopped by and Ryan told us...."I didn't think it would be, but once I got into it I had alot of fun". He told us how he really did have a blast. This makes me so happy, because I was just doing what I love, shooting, being goofy, and hanging out with friends.

Thanks so much guys! Kristen, get that dress ready.... cause its getting trashed soon!
