Kristen and Ryan ROCK!!!!! This shoot is definetly at the top of my list for all time most fun, most fufilling, most ROCKIN shoots. We had planned to go to this little laundry-mat, but when it was full so we decided to swing by this little building I have been wanting to shoot at ever since they started building it. It was the best location to shoot at. Kristen and Ryan were working it and everything was just falling into place.
There are times when I just love photography and I am reassured that this is something I want to do every chance I get. A few days after our shoot Ryan and Kristen stopped by and Ryan told us...."I didn't think it would be, but once I got into it I had alot of fun". He told us how he really did have a blast. This makes me so happy, because I was just doing what I love, shooting, being goofy, and hanging out with friends.
Thanks so much guys! Kristen, get that dress ready.... cause its getting trashed soon!

Warning RANDOM THOUGHTS AHEAD!
Just a little something random from my day....We all appreciate the wonder of the world in different ways. My amazement is provided from the senses the world provides, namely light. I woke this morning to the sight of my beautiful wife, Allison. I find her in beautiful fashion all the time but this light was specific. Early morning light that was warm, bronzed, and delicate. Slightly mottled as it filtered through the trees and crept between the blinds. It cast a soft, rim light across the outline of her neck, against her cheekbone, and defining her jaw. With a slight gust of the wind its a moment fleeting. Its moments like that, bring me such amazement and joy. I'm in awe of all the wonder God places in the world.
Moments like that are the reason I love photography and want to take pictures. I struggle sometimes as an artist. I yearn to capture the way the light dances and falls. I get too wrapped up with all the technical jargon that I forget to slow down and see what Gods giving me.

Introducing the cute and spunky Kristen! Oh and I think her boyfriend Ryan might be in a few shots. Kristen was gracious enough to model for us and since she brought along her boyfriend Ryan we had to throw em in a few shots together. Its funny I planned to do this shot with our new chair and Chinese rice paper lamp but the shots of Kristen and Ryan together ended up being my favorite. Once again it just proves no matter how much you plan a shoot, it’s organic. It’s going to evolve into what it is and it’s usually great.
Thanks again Kristen and Ryan. I’m really looking forward to our next shoot!
I just had to post this one Chris (ANCCI) shot. Its just a great emotion driven image.
